This is a shout out to the entire crew and anyone involved in the massive efforts of the show Battle Of The Bow. You are to be commended on your outstanding work! I have never hunted, but I feel like I am with the teams when they go out into the woods. My adrenaline pumps while sitting watching TV as a deer approaches and there is silence. The editing, music, writing, humor, and naturalness of it all is second to none. Thank you for the vision and following through. Brunner boys - you have a

Well, I have finally made some time to get back on this blog and make an entry to update anyone who cares to read this about what is new at the "office." We just finished laying down the narration for the eighth episode of the season, which means we are now officially beyond the half way point of our 13 show series. Just a couple of minutes ago we were talking about how crazy it is to think that we are over the halfway point, but i…

I uploaded some awesome pics of some deer that are actually in a local park nearby where I live. Pat and I would take walks a couple times a month to check these beauties out. It is a nice park with alot of trees and great walking trails. We would take the camera everytime we went walking.
I was very happy to see all these deer. I just went out for the first time hunting this past gun season and saw only two doe flying by. We went almost the whole entire 9 day gun season and 2 out of 4 days of t…

Just found out that the 9pt that I wounded was shot and killed by a neighbor kid the night before Halloween.
The right front leg was busted off just under the shoulder. This certainly makes sense of the loud horrible crack after I shot when I thought I had hit a tree.
It also makes sense that the day I discovered that my bow sites were loose, I was shooting low and to the right which would place the shot in that very area.
While I am sad that I did not get to recover that buck, I am glad to p…

My biggest obstacle in bow hunting has been the fact that I don’t judge distance very well. Maybe it is the fact that I didn’t ever need to when rifle hunting in the woods of Wisconsin, or maybe it was that I was learning how far away things were, from other people that really couldn’t judge distance either.…

Well it was a interesting bow season this year. There was a lot of firsts for Nick and I this year. Hanging camera stands, filming the hunts, hunting new properties, and trying to find subs when one of us was not able to hunt. I think we would both agree we experienced a great deal of frustration, stress, and satisfaction from the begining to the end of the 2009 WI Archery Season.
We had a rough start to say the least. We had high hopes of patterning a couple bucks in the first couple weeks of…
